When I think Dead Zed I think about trying to get headshots for more time to use to find guns and people, repair the home, and set up various defenses and such. While this does have the standard stand and shoot mechanics, and the ammo count is a nice touch, it seems the mechanics of looting and such were replaced by loot crates for currency.
