Borderlands 2 Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Walkthrough Part 1 – Savage Lands
Welcome to Aegrus, a swampy continent where you will find many exotic Pandoran creatures and give them a fist full of lead to the face. Time to start by meeting Sir Hammerlock. Head on over to the East to get started and go on down into the ravine. Follow the river until it gives to the waterfall. From there you can drop or take the ladder down.
At the base of the falls continue to the East toward the marker and Sir Hammerlock's base camp. As you close in on the lodge you will find some of the new bandit types (Witch Doctor and Triggerman) of th Burning Pyscho and bandit variety. The Witch Doctor is a completely new type of enemy with original attacks. It can form up a whirlwind and spin at you, deflecting bullets, lob fireballs at you and heal. Kill them first viciously.
Head on over to the East and pass underneath the suspended house. Press on just a bit farther East. You will find 2 massive doors that are open so head inside. You will find Sir Hammerlock sitting on a crate in the cavern behind the doors. Talk with him to start on the next part of this mission to get to the lodge itself.
Head over to teh West, and up the stairs. As you approach teh lodge you will find that some Savages have been waiting in hiding. They will emerge from their cloaking in pairs and come charging at the Vault Hunter and Hammerlock. The final set will come in a trio. After that you can approach and enter the lodge itself. Be sure you either fight it out on the deck in front of the lodge or on the part of the platform where Sir Hammerlock is standing. It is easy to fall off otherwise.
Things are not much better inside the lodge. There are a number of Savages inside for you to deal with. This includes triggermen and one more Witch Doctor. Fight your way through and be mindful of the narrow ledge. It is easy to fall off.
When the Savages have been cleared out you will be contacted by Professor Nakayama. He makes it clear he does not want you coming after his research. Sir Hammerlock explains that they are simply there to hunt. He then asks you to head outside and throw the switch to power up the lodge. Head on out the door, find the switch and do so. After that just follow Sir Hammerlock to the North out of the Hunting Lodge. He explains that he needs to repair the Catch-A-Boat so you two can take off for the Heart of Revelative Dimness. After some laughing of the term 'dinghy' he sets to work repairing the Catch-A-Boat.
It is at this point the quiet is broken once again as you are assaulted by baot riding Savages. Each of the 3 waves has Witch Doctor. These can level up enemies, heal them, and in some cases either slow you down or drain your health and shields to heal themselves. Be on guard for them and kill them as soon as possible.
When the fighting is done go and talk with Sir Hammerlock to turn the quest in.
