Deadly Premonition
Submitted on 11/7/2017 Review title of PoundedRoscoUnexpectedly AmazingThis game truly is a hidden gem, it starts off goofy and maybe not so appealing to certain crowds, but almost immediately drops the drama and suspense on you after a few chapters, of which there are over 20, and only take as long as it takes you to finish the story mission. The gameplay could have been improved, but its mainly to do with combat and some of the movement, outside of that, there are exactly 50 sidequests, so you will have many things to do outside of watching the story. Speaking of which, the story is the main part that makes this game a gem, it is deceptively intriguing, it starts off goofy and light hearted but quickly turns into almost like a serial killer movie with you being on the investigation point of view.
Originally known as Rainy Woods in 2007, and given the name Red Seeds Profile upon release in Japan, the version of the game released in America was called Deadly Premonition. Developed by Access Games, and headed up by game director Hidetaka Suehiro (better known as SWERY), Deadly Premonition was only their second game. Himno a la alegria.
To put it simply, this is more than worth it to add the game to your collection, stick through the goofy voice lines and animations, and you wont regret it, welcome to Greenvale, enjoy your stay! Submitted on 11/3/2017 Review title of COMMANDO 3DWhat a gem of a game. This game is one of a kind. Taking elements from survival horror games, and adding a pinch of open-world exploration to create one bizarrely beautiful game. From a gameplay standpoint, this game is mediocre. From the gunplay to the driving segments, they are loose and floaty. Where this game truly shines is in the story and the characters that inhabit this game. The story is so bizarre you'll be wanting to know where it will take you next.

As for the characters, they are so quirky that they become likable and you'll become quite attached to them by the end of the game. One other thing that is amazing is the music. Sometimes it plays in very odd times, but I feel that it gives this game more charm. Also, one song in particular is so catchy that you'd be hard-pressed not to catch yourself humming it during any hour of the day. This game, while the gameplay is very mediocre, the story and characters help elevate this would be poor game to one of the best I've ever played. Highly recommend.
Is the definition of a system seller. Once you play it, you'll want to go sell your system. That may seem like a harsh statement, but it's been a long time since I've played any boxed retail game on any system that feels this amateurish. If were to release eight years ago, we'd probably be hailing it as the Shenmue-killer.
It's got an entire city to explore, citizens to talk to and side-quests to find all tucked inside a survival horror package. We of course would have been deluding ourselves. Deadly Premonition isn't just outdated in its look. It's fundamentally bad. Where to begin?
I've been following Deadly Premonition with interest for ages, ever since a was released at the Tokyo Game Show in 2007. It looked like a Twin Peaks knock-off, and when I later learned it would be a survival-horror game I was intrigued. I don't think the final product could be any more disappointing.
